We Are Living in a Troubled World sermon series

John 16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Have you had trouble in your life?

(stirring, churning in your soul)

What about the:

The trouble of the loss of a loved one         

The trouble of loneliness

The trouble of an empty bank account

The trouble of fear

The trouble of worry

The trouble of sinning

The trouble of being down

The trouble of people failing me

The trouble of being cold spiritually

 

In this sermon series on TROUBLE I would like to identify the various troubles we experience as Jesus said we would have and then see how the Bible and Jesus Himself can answer these troubles. Don’t think for a second that if I have Jesus I won’t have troubles but rather think Jesus can help me through every trouble that comes into my life.
